Fight Sports seals rights to Joshua-Povetkin, following big Canelo-GGG 2 weekend

Boxing - 19 Sep 2018

FIGHT SPORTS adds the Joshua vs. Povetkin World Heavyweight Championship event on September 22nd to its line-up that follows a weekend that featured the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin rematch across FIGHT SPORTS territories.

FIGHT SPORTS announced today that it has secured rights to the upcoming World Heavyweight Championship bout featuring undefeated WBA, IBF, and WBO Champion Anthony Joshua taking on #1 contender Alexander Povetkin in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in the UK.

FIGHT SPORTS will broadcast the event across territories in Europe, as well as throughout many territories in Pan-Asia-Pacific.

This broadcast comes after this past weekend’s thrilling rematch between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where FIGHT SPORTS held live rights in over 30 countries, including Singapore, Spain, India, Portugal, Indonesia and Thailand.
