Champions League tender launched in the Caribbean
Broadcasters in the region have been given until 5pm (CEST) on 3 May to submit their bids to Uefa and its Team Marketing agency.
As in all other markets, there is one tender covering the elite Champions League and annual Super Cup and another for the secondary Europa League and new third-tier Europa Conference League.
Champions League and Europa League rights in the Caribbean are presently shared by pay-television duo Flow Sports and SportsMax.
Uefa has launched the tenders in the Caribbean as it begins to analyse the bids for the Indian sub-continent, which had to be submitted by yesterday. Broadcasters had been given an extra three weeks to formulate their offers.
Bid windows also recently closed for in-flight and in-ship rights (15 March), in Latin America, excluding Brazil (23 March), Armenia (29 March) and Turkey (30 March).
