Network4, the Hungarian pay-television broadcaster, has today (November 29) extended its rights deal with motorcycling's MotoGP for another four years.
Under the extended contract agreed with promoters Dorna Sports, which runs through 2027, Network4 will continue to hold exclusive rights to the MotoGP World Championship, the second and third-tier Moto2 and Moto3 races, and all MotoE World Championship events.

Coverage of all the races, practice, and qualifying sessions will be shown on Network4's Arena4 and Match4 sports TV channels and the Net4+ streaming service.
Network4 has held MotoGP rights in Hungary since 2020.
The 2024 MotoGP season will feature a record 22 races, beginning in Qatar in March. The campaign will again conclude in Valencia, Spain in November. In total, the championship will stage races across 18 countries.
The 2023 season ended on Sunday (November 26) in Valencia.

By GlobalDataThe Balaton Park circuit in Hungary has been included on the 2024 calendar as a reserve venue ahead of a planned return to the Hungaroring in 2025.
If a Grand Prix is staged in Balaton Park next year, and for future Hungarian Grand Prix events, they will be broadcast by Network4 on its Max4 free-to-air channel.
András Borsány-Gyenes, president of Network4 Media Group, said: “There is a significant and growing audience for top-level motorcycle racing in Hungary, and we will continue to work to provide them with the best possible quality, extra content, and multiple platforms to show them all the important moments of the series.”
Alex Arroyo, head of media rights at Dorna Sports, added: “Hungary is an important market and home to our reserve venue next season as just a first step, with plans already announced to race at the Hungaroring from 2025.
“We know that with Network4, our Hungarian audience will continue to get top-quality coverage.”
Earlier this month, pay-TV giant Sky Deutschland secured long-term live rights to the MotoGP World Championship in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from the 2024 season onwards.
Network4 also recently announced an early extension of its rights deal for German soccer’s top-tier Bundesliga for another four seasons through 2028-2029.
