Dyn Media, the new German-based sports streaming platform, has snapped up rights to action from the European Table Tennis Team Championships next month.

Through a deal unveiled today (August 16), Dyn will cover all games with German participation across both the women’s and men’s events from the tournament, as well as all fixtures from the round of 16 onwards.

The 2023 edition of the championships will take place in Malmö, Sweden, between September 10 and 17.

In terms of its other table tennis coverage, the platform also holds rights domestically to the German top-tier Bundesliga.

Dyn launches on August 23, with an annual subscription costing €150 ($161.80), the equivalent of €12.50 per month, while a single-month subscription costs €14.50.

The service is available across all devices in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and provides access to live sports, highlights, and on-demand content.

Late last month (July), Dyn unveiled a long-term carriage agreement with German heavyweight pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland.

Part of the tie-up revolves around a “newly developed app by Dyn,” which will be offered via the Sky platform from the start of the 2023-24 German sporting season.
