European Athletics has pleasure in announcing on Thursday (June 15) that it has signed Würth MODYF as an Official Partner for 2023-24.
The signing ceremony took place at Würth MODFY Italian headquarters in Neumarkt, Italy.
Würth MODYF was previously an Official Partner of European Athletics during the Munich 2022 European Athletics Championships.
In similar fashion to last summer's involvement with European Athletics, Würth MODYF will be a partner in the category of ‘workwear’.
It will have a significant presence during the following major athletics championships during the next 18 months.
- Silesia 2023 European Athletics Team Championships (all divisions) on 20-25 June 2023
- Brussels 2023 SPAR European Cross Country Championships on 10 December 2023
- Roma 2024 European Athletics Championships on 7-12 June 2024
As a top-tier Official Partner, Würth MODYF will benefit from extensive core marketing rights that include worldwide product category exclusivity, brand exposure in European Athletics' ever-expanding digital and social media activities, exposure on Eurovision’s pan-European free-to-air broadcast coverage of the three above championships, track perimeter LED advertising, additional exposure via European Athletics communications channels, ticketing, and VIP hospitality.

By GlobalData“I am very pleased that European Athletics and Würth MODYF will be working together again and I warmly welcome them back as an Official Partner," commented European Athletics President Dobromir Karamarinov.
"It was a very successful association last summer at our flagship event in Munich, with both parties benefiting greatly, and our renewed involvement with this prestigious multi-national company demonstrates once again the value of our brand and our events,” he added.
”Like with all our Official Partners, we are committed to helping them increase their international exposure via an involvement with our sport," said European Athletics CEO Christian Milz.
"Starting with the European Athletics Team Championships, which has a very prominent place on our calendar and in the European Games, we will be delivering outstanding marketing opportunities for all our Official Partners, including Würth MODYF, which will see them directly connected to some of the world's greatest athletes," he added.
“We are proud to be an Official Partner of European Athletics. After the successful start in Munich 2022, it was clear to us that we wanted to build further on this partnership," commented Melanie Röger, spokeswoman of the Würth MODYF Group.
"The values of European Athletics competition – excellence, discipline, personal development, and equality – are values that our customers share every day and that we also live by them internally as the cornerstone of our corporate culture. We are therefore pleased to be able to carry these values out into the world, together in exciting competitions," she added.
“We are looking forward to being on-site at the next three major events in Silesia, Brussels, and Rome and, together with our team, bringing visitors closer to our Würth MODYF brand," said Sarah Stievano, Head of International Marketing at the Würth MODYF Group.
"We will organize various activities during the breaks for the spectators, tell the story of the people working in the background during such big events on our social media channels, and, of course, cheer for all the athletes and teams,” she added.
Würth MODYF will join SPAR, Le Gruyère, and Eurohold as an Official Partner, with EBU/Eurovision Sport as a Broadcast Partner, and Conica and Polanik as Preferred Suppliers.
