The Saudi Arabian port city of Jeddah will host the 2023 edition of basketball's FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final.
In an announcement yesterday (June 12), the sport's governing body FIBA revealed that the 12th edition of the event would be held in the city from December 8 to 9 in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Basketball Federation.
The tournament has previously been hosted by Saudi Arabia in 2020 and 2021, with the country also having hosted the World Tour Masters in 2019 and 2022.
The World Tour Final is the peak of the professional men’s 3×3 basketball circuit and features the top 12 teams in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour standings after the season's final masters event.
There are 17 rounds in the 2023 FIBA 3×3 World Tour season, with 15 remaining. The next stop on the calendar is Marseille, France, from June 30 to July 1.
FIBA president Hamane Niang said: “We could not be happier to be returning to Jeddah for the hosting of the prestigious FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final in 2023.
