Concacaf, soccer’s governing body across North and Central America and the Caribbean, has announced the 15 venues in 14 cities across the US and Canada that will host games for the upcoming 2023 Gold Cup men’s national teams tournament.
The list includes three first-time hosts, with Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium, Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, and CityPark, the newly opened home stadium of MLS expansion side St. Louis City SC, all earmarked to stage games during the competition, which will run from June 16 to July 16.
SoFi Stadium in California will host group-stage matches and the final, as well as the Gold Cup draw on April 14. Other notable US venues include Soldier Field in Chicago and NRG Stadium in Houston, both of which will have hosted matches at six previous Gold Cup editions.
BMO Field in Toronto, meanwhile, has been chosen as the competition’s sole Canadian venue, the second time it has hosted Gold Cup action after staging a doubleheader in the group stage of the 2015 edition.
The last edition in 2021 was won by the US, who beat Mexico in the final.
Victor Montagliani, Concacaf president and vice president of world governing body FIFA, said: “The host cities and venues we have selected all have strong track records of hosting elite football and world-class events.

“This is a tremendous time for football in the region with Nations Leagues, men’s and women’s Gold Cups, and other exciting national team and club competitions taking place over the next three years as we head towards the FIFA World Cup 2026 [hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico].
“The Concacaf Gold Cup is our flagship competition and showcases the very best of men’s national team football in the region. With each passing edition, this competition has reached new heights on and off the pitch and I am certain the 2023 tournament will deliver outstanding football and capture the imagination of fans across our confederation and beyond.”
The full tournament schedule will be announced soon after the draw on April 14.
The full list of 2023 Gold Cup host venues is AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas), Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte, North Carolina), Soldier Field (Chicago, Illinois), TQL Stadium (Cincinnati, Ohio), DRV PNK Stadium (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), State Farm Stadium (Glendale, Arizona), Red Bull Arena (Harrison, New Jersey), NRG Stadium (Houston, Texas), Shell Energy Stadium (Houston, Texas), SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, California), Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas, Nevada), Snapdragon Stadium (San Diego, California), Levi's Stadium (Santa Clara, California), Citypark Stadium (St. Louis, Missouri) and BMO Field (Toronto, Canada).
The Gold Cup is part of a busy summer for some teams and players in the region, with the US, Mexico, Canada, and Panama also taking part in the Concacaf Nations League Finals at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas between June 15 and 18.
The 2023 Leagues Cup tournament, meanwhile, will also see 47 teams from Major League Soccer and Liga MX play from July 21 to August 19, with both leagues pausing for the duration of the tournament.
The news comes a month after Concacaf announced that its inaugural women’s Gold Cup will take place between February 17 and March 10 next year across the US.
Last month, Concacaf also outlined several format changes to its men’s national team competitions during the 2023-26 cycle, including revamping the Concacaf Nations League “to include more direct elimination matches that will quality teams to continental summer competitions” and the participation of six Concacaf sides in the South American Copa America tournament from 2024.
