DAZN, the international sports streaming platform, has expanded its combat sports portfolio after securing exclusive rights to US professional wrestling series All Elite Wrestling (AEW) across Europe and Asia.
The multi-year agreement will see DAZN air more than 200 AEW events annually across 42 markets, including weekly shows AEW: Dark Elevation, (Mondays), AEW: Dark (Tuesdays), AEW: Dynamite (Wednesdays), and AEW: Rampage (Fridays).
The broadcaster will also stream the series’ four Battle of the Belts shows and its quarterly pay-per-view (PPV) events – Revolution, Double or Nothing, All Out, and Full Gear.
AEW’s next major event is Revolution, which will air on PPV on March 5.

AEW, founded in 2019 by Shahid Khan and his son Tony, is considered the second-largest wrestling promotion in the US behind World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Khan is also the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, of American football's NFL, and English Premier League soccer club Fulham.
The new deal increases AEW’s reach after it partnered with Starzplay, the Dubai-based subscription video-on-demand service, as its broadcast partner across the Middle East and North Africa region.
In September SPOTV, the pan-regional sports channel of South Korean broadcasting company Eclat Media, also acquired rights to air several AEW events across Malaysia.
The deal also expands DAZN’s combat sports portfolio, which includes US series Impact Wrestling in more than 170 countries including the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, France, Poland, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, and Brazil.
In November, it announced a non-exclusive rights deal with the Polish-based Kinuin Prime Time Wrestling series.
In late October, meanwhile, DAZN and the Professional Fighters League (PFL) US-based mixed martial arts series announced the formation of a joint venture to run the new PFL Europe regional league.
DAZN became a founding partner of PFL Europe, which is due to launch in 2023 as part of the series’ ongoing expansion and will broadcast in “prime local hours” for all events staged in Europe.
The two have also entered into a “historic, multiyear media rights agreement” that will see all PFL events around the world broadcast solely on DAZN “in select major international markets, with a focus on Europe” also from 2023.
DAZN also added to its MMA portfolio in September, agreeing to broadcast deals with Spain’s AFL and the Brave Combat Federation in the Middle East.
AEW will be available on DAZN in Albania, Alderney, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, Georgia, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Jan Mayen Islands, Jersey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Svalbard, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
