Eleven Belgium has renewed its broadcast rights deal with European soccer’s governing body Uefa for qualifying matches to both the 2024 European Championships and the 2026 World Cup.
The deal, struck between the subscription broadcaster and the CAA Eleven agency on behalf of Uefa, also includes the 2022 and 2024 editions of the Uefa Nations League group stage campaigns, and the 2023 and 2025 Nations League Finals.
The qualifying matches for Euro 2024 in Germany are set to start in early 2023, and the equivalent fixtures for the 2026 World Cup will commence after the German tournament.
Eleven Belgium previously showed qualifying matches for the recently-completed Euro 2020, and is doing the same for the equivalent games for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
It also held rights to both the 2018-19 and 2020-21 editions of the Nations League, in a deal struck in September 2018.
Euro 2020, which concluded last weekend was shown free-to-air in Belgium by public-service broadcasters VRT and RTBF, and rights to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar have been awarded to the same duo.
