Professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced an exclusive licensing partnership with photography company Getty Images.
The deal will see Getty distribute photos from all WWE television products such as Monday Night Raw, NXT, and Friday Night SmackDown, as well as premium live events such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Money in the Bank for editorial and commercial use.
The deal includes never-before-seen photographs and archival content dating back to 1980.
The first major WWE event to be covered by the new partnership will be WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20.
The deal adds to Getty’s portfolio of sports partnerships, including basketball’s NBA, baseball’s MLB, ice hockey’s NHL, world soccer’s FIFA, and the Olympic Games.
The new partnership comes as WWE embarks on its first year being aired by streaming service Netflix as part of a bumper rights deal signed in 2024.
Under that deal, Netflix shows Raw, Smackdown, and NXT weekly shows across the US, Canada, the UK, and Latin America, as well as WWE’s slate of premium live events.
The debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix on January 6 drew 4.9 million views across the territories.
