Okko Sport, the subscription streaming platform in Russia, has acquired long-term rights to the Tour de France and La Vuelta a España, two of cycling’s iconic grand tour races.
The service has signed a six-year deal with the right to show up to 20 cycling tournaments per year. The agreement covers the 2025-2030 cycle.
In addition to the Tour de France and La Vuelta, Okko will also broadcast one-day races such as Paris-Roubaix and Liege-Bastogne-Liège, as well as races from the UCI WorldTour series, including Paris-Nice and the Criterium Dauphiné, the Tour of Germany and the Paris-Tour.
The cycling events will be available both live and on-demand on the OTT platform, with commentary in multiple languages.
Okko’s coverage began yesterday (March 9) when it aired the Paris-Nice multi-day race.
This year’s Tour de France, the 112th edition of the iconic race, will start in Lille on July 5 and finish with the final stage at the Champs-Élysées, Paris, on July 27.
The 2025 La Vuelta will run from August 23 to September 14.
Live cycling content complements Okko’s sports rights portfolio, which primarily features soccer, such as Europe’s UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League club competitions and France’s top-flight Ligue 1 and second-tier Ligue 2.
Last summer, the company shared the rights to show the UEFA European Championship national teams competition with Match TV.
