3M, the US manufacturing company, has renewed its title sponsorship of the PGA Tour golf event in Minnesota for another five years.
The tournament will continue to be known as the 3M Open through 2030.
The Minnesota-based company has been a partner of the tournament since its inception in 2019 and is hosted by its charity, 3M Open Fund.
3M initially signed a seven-year deal in 2018 that was due to expire after this year's edition. The new agreement will commence in 2026.
The firm has supported golf for more than 30 years, including hosting the 3M Championship, a PGA Tour Champions event at the TPC Twin Cities golf club in Blaine, Minnesota, from 1993-2018.
The 2025 3M Open will be held between July 21 and 27 at TPC Twin Cities. It will be televised on CBS/Paramount+, Golf Channel, and ESPN+ and distributed internationally via the tour’s world feed.
For the third consecutive season, the 3M Open will be the penultimate event in the PGA Tour’s FedExCup regular season as players seek to secure their place inside the top 70 and a spot in the FedExCup Playoffs.
The PGA Tour also recently renewed a deal with paint and coatings brand Valspar to continue as the title sponsor of the Valspar Championship in Tampa Bay, Florida, through 2030.
