US golf’s top-tier PGA Tour has extended two sponsorship deals – with the paint and coatings brand Valspar and Dream Finders Homes.
The Valspar tie-up involves that brand – part of the Sherwin-Williams group – continuing as the title sponsor of the Valspar Championship in Tampa Bay, Florida, through 2030.
Dream Finders Homes, meanwhile, will continue as the PGA Tour’s home builder partner through 2031.
The brand has sponsored the golf tour – and the PGA Tour Champions senior series – since 2022, while Valspar has been putting its name to the Florida event for the last 11 years.
The 2025 edition of the Valspar Championship runs between March 17 and 23, with a total prize purse of $8.7 million. It will be broadcast domestically by NBC and the Peacock streaming service, as well as ESPN+.
GlobalData Sport valued the last deal between the PGA Tour and Valspar – unveiled in March 2019, and running through 2025 – at $7.5 million annually.
The Florida championship at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook joined the PGA Tour in 2000. Its previous title sponsors have been Chrysler, PODS, and Transitions Optical.
Dream Finders Homes, meanwhile, will maintain an active presence at events across the season, while it is now set to have an "enhanced hosting program” at The Players Championship in the company’s hometown of Palm Valley, Florida.
Specifically, the brand will sponsor the Moving Day campaign across PGA Tour online and social media platforms, as players who make significant moves up the leaderboard on Saturdays at PGA Tour events are highlighted.
Dream Finders Homes' last PGA Tour was announced in April 2022 and runs through 2026, with GlobalData Sport putting a yearly value of $2.5 million on that agreement.
In terms of recent PGA Tour commercial activity, late January saw ServPro, a US property clean-up and restoration firm, extend its sponsorship deal with the tour.
Specifically, ServPro continues as the presenting sponsor of the Chubb Classic PGA Tour Champions event in Florida through 2028.
