UK pay-TV heavyweight Sky will expand its coverage of England’s top-tier Netball Super League (NSL) after updating its rights agreement ahead of the 2025 season.

Under the new agreement, Sky Sports will now show three weekly regular-round fixtures of the competition across its platforms, including for free on its YouTube channel.

Sky Sports’ original three-year deal, signed last year, only included one game per week, along with coverage of the Netball Super Cup season-opening tournament, NSL Playoffs, and Grand Final.

In addition to its live coverage, Sky Sports will also broadcast weekly analysis show Off The Court and a weekly podcast during the competition.

UK public-service broadcaster the BBC will continue to broadcast one game per week on its iPlayer streaming service as part of its previous two-year deal signed last year.

The updated rights deal ensures all of this season’s NSL fixtures will be available across both broadcasters. Viewers outside the UK can access all games live and on-demand via the NetballPass streaming platform.

Clair Nelson, NSL’s managing director, said: “This is an incredibly significant moment for our sport as we embark on this exciting new era. We talk often about the unique and unrivaled power of netball in unlocking new audiences, and Sky Sports’ increased investment in elevating our coverage recognizes just that.

“Ensuring that every match is accessible to fans, free of charge, is a game-changer and we are thrilled to collaborate with our broadcast partners to give the fans exactly what they want.”

Sky Sports’ coverage starts on March 8 with the Netball Super Cup, which will be shown on Sky Sports Mix and YouTube.
