TNT Sports, the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned pay-TV broadcaster in the UK, is bringing in Pete Thomas to be its new head of football.
Thomas will start in his new role on March 1, 2025, joining from UK sports and TV production firm Whisper, where he has served as head of sport.
In his new role, Thomas will report to Scott Young, group senior vice president of content, production, and business operations for WBD Sports Europe.
Thomas has had a two-decade broadcasting career, working across sports events such as Premier League soccer, European soccer, rugby, and American football's NFL.
He moved to Whisper from Noah Media Group in 2022, where he had worked as executive producer and director across non-live sports content and documentaries, including Finding Jack Charlton and Adam Hills: Take His Legs.
He previously also worked at UK-based television sports production and media company Sunset + Vine as a producer, and ITV Sport as an assistant producer.
