Sportsbet.io, the online sports betting platform, has taken on a two-year title sponsorship role for a trio of English snooker tournaments.
A deal between sportsbet.io, the World Snooker Tour (WST), and the property’s promoter Matchroom Sport, was unveiled earlier today, through which the brand will put its name to the Players Championship, Tour Championship, and Champion of Champions.

The sportsbet.io Players Championship is set for Telford in March, the sportsbet.io Tour Championship for Manchester between March 31 and April 6, while the sportsbet.io Champion of Champions will take place from November 10 to 16 in Bolton.
All three events will be aired domestically by the ITV free-to-air commercial broadcaster.
sportsbet.io, established in 2016 and part of the Yolo Group, thus joins forces with WST and Matchroom Sport for the first time.
Elsewhere in sport, it is a partner of several high-profile soccer properties, including Spain’s top-tier LaLiga (announced in late October) and English side Newcastle United.
In terms of WST title sponsorships, the annual Masters event – taking place in London now – is title sponsored by the Johnstone’s Paint brand of paint and coating manufacturer PPG, through a deal disclosed last June.
