The Chennai Super Kings (CSK), from Twenty20 cricket’s iconic Indian Premier League [IPL), have bought in international parcel courier heavyweight FedEx as a principal commercial partner.

The brand has also become the team’s official logistics partner, as well as a sponsor of the Joburg Super Kings in South Africa – that team is a CSK affiliate, controlled by the same overall organization.

The tie-up stretches across the 2025 IPL – March 22 to May 26 – as well as the South African SA20 T20 competition in January and early February.

It will see the brand’s logo feature on the back of the teams’ jerseys, while FedEx will also be responsible for transporting equipment around the various teams under the overall Super Kings brand – there is also a team in Texas competing in Major League Cricket.

CSK have so far won the IPL a joint-record five times.

Last season – in which CSK failed to make the post-season playoffs – the team's stable of major commercial partners included TVS Eurogrip, Etihad Airways, and Gulf Oil.
