For Kazakhstan, meanwhile, the Sport Plus TV channel has also secured the broadcasting rights for ACB competitions for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.

In Iraq and Egypt, the 2024-25 season will be broadcast on Al Rabiaa in Iraq and OnTime in Egypt, which will also broadcast games from the Supercopa for the 2025-26 season.

In September the ACB announced that its top-tier Liga Endesa will be shown in 145 countries and territories in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas this season with several broadcast agreements struck by the ACB league organising body ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

The week prior, the ACB announced broadcast deals in several South American countries, the Caribbean, and Mexico.

Meanwhile, the ACB has announced a partnership with Korea-based tyre manufacturer Kumho Tyre, making the firm the official supplier to the ACB’s competitions, the Liga Endesa, Copa del Rey, Supercopa Endesa, and Minicopa Endesa.

The agreement, which covers the 2024-25 season, includes brand presence for Kumho in the competitions, various on-site activations, and collaborations on social media.

Ricardo de Diego, brand director of the ACB, highlighted “the importance of the agreement with an international brand of the prestige of Kumho Tire and its confidence in the ACB as the first basketball property to invest in Europe.”
