Sri Lankan pay-TV broadcaster Dialog TV has struck a deal with the Cricket South Africa (CSA) governing body.

Through a tie-up unveiled today, Dialog will show the remainder of the South African 2024-25 home cricket season, which includes the second and final test of the South Africa vs Sri Lanka men’s series.

The deal, brokered by heavyweight international rights agency IMG, also covers South Africa’s men's home series against Pakistan, taking place later this month and in early January.

In addition, the ongoing women's national team home series against England is included.

The deal comes with Sri Lanka 1-0 down in the test series, having lost heavily in Durban in the first match. The second test – which is likely to have a bearing on both teams’ chances of making the World Test Championship Final – begins in Gqeberha tomorrow (December 5), with the Pakistan games starting on December 10.

Domestically, CSA’s main rights partner – through the 2026-27 season – is pay-TV heavyweight SuperSport.

Over the last six months, IMG has brokered media rights deals for CSA in Pakistan (ARY Digital Network) and Australia (an extension with Foxtel).

IMG has worked with CSA for the past 30 years and manages the federation’s international media rights.

In terms of other Sri Lankan broadcasters covering cricket, Maharaja TV is the International Cricket Council’s partner in the country through 2025. That deal was signed off in April.
