Chinese sportswear brand Peak Sport has been announced as a new sponsor of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), the collective representative body of all 206 National Olympic Committees (NOCs).
Through the value-in-kind deal Peak Sport, which becomes a gold-tier partner of ANOC, will provide $7.1 million worth of support to ANOC, not in the form of cash but instead via sportswear and apparel.
The deal means that any NOC that brought six or fewer athletes to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will now be able to receive Peak Sports uniforms distributed by ANOC for the Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Olympics.
Also included in this tie-ups are the Winter Olympic Games (2026, 2030), Youth Summer Olympic Games (2026, 2030), and Youth Winter Olympic Games (2028, 2032), taking place over the course of the eight-year deal.
Furthermore, these qualifying NOCs, 72 in total, will be able to purchase Peak Sports uniforms at a discounted price for use at their own regional and continental games.
Speaking on the partnership, ANOC president Robin Mitchell stated: “ANOC remains steadfast in its desire to support all NOCs and ensure that they have the best opportunity to succeed during games-time. Providing the selected NOCs with the best quality apparel is a tangible way to contribute to this aim.
