Eurovision Services, the leading broadcast services provider, has agreed a deal with French soccer’s LFP governing body to serve as the worldwide distributor of its top-flight Ligue 1 and second-tier Ligue 2.

The three-year contract will start immediately with the ongoing 2024-25 season and run through the 2026-27 campaign.

Feeds of over 1,200 hours of live French soccer will be distributed globally by Eurovision Services via its range of satellite, cable, and Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) technology.

Speaking on the deal, Martin Aurenche, chief media officer at LFP Media arm, stated: “Eurovision Services’ technology and experience are exactly what we need to bring the best of French soccer to our global audience.”

Other major clients of Eurovision Services have included motor racing’s Formula 1, North American basketball’s NBA, English soccer’s top-tier Premier League, European soccer governing body UEFA, motor cycling’s motocross promoter Infront Moto Racing, and the Super League Triathlon.

Eurovision Services was previously owned by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the alliance of public service broadcasters, which sold the services business to Munich-based private equity firm Dubag Group in 2023.
