FanDuel, the US gaming company, has agreed a new broadcast deal with Euroleague Basketball, the organizer of top European club competitions, for the 2024-25 season.

Under the agreement, one game from every top-tier EuroLeague regular-season round will air exclusively on FanDuel TV’s FAST channel FanDuel TV Extra and its OTT platform FanDuel TV+ in the US.

The deal will provide users with action from the league on a free-to-air basis.

The broadcast agreement has been struck ahead of the third round of EuroLeague regular season fixtures which continues today.

In this round of games, FanDuel will show the October 16 clash between Spain's FC Barcelona and AS Monaco.

FanDuel TV Extra is currently available on various streaming platforms including Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Tubi, Xumo Play, Plex and through FanDuel TV+.

The tie-up with FanDuel will complement Euroleague’s existing broadcast deal in the US with major sports network ESPN, which shows every game.

Alex Ferrer Kristjansson, Euroleague Basketball marketing and communication chief officer, said “This agreement with FanDuel is a major step in expanding our footprint outside the pan-European ecosystem.

“By expanding the EuroLeague broadcasting offer to US audiences, we’re opening exciting opportunities to grow our fan base and connect with basketball enthusiasts on a global scale.”

Mike Raffensperger, president of sports at FanDuel, added: “We're constantly looking to expand FanDuel TV’s robust offering of live sports and EuroLeague has proven to be a highly engaging market amongst FanDuel users.

“Our agreement will provide more visibility to Europe’s premier basketball league and bring even more captivating watch-and-wager programming to FanDuel TV.”
