French soccer giants Paris Saint-Germain have announced an expanded partnership with French alcohol company Pernod Ricard.
The new global tie-up covers the entire portfolio of the group’s premium brands, with the four-year deal set to start this season, encompassing the men’s and women’s teams as an official partner, and PSG’s handball team as an official provider.
The new deal elevates Pernod Ricard into being a worldwide official partner, now the sole champagne and spirits provider for the club, holding visibility and communications rights, as well as fan experiences.
The global partnership excludes France in terms of visibility or activations, only covering commercial aspects in the country.
The alcohol brand has been an official provider of wine and spirits for PSG’s hospitality program for over a decade.
PSG have made a strong start to the new season, sitting top of Ligue 1 heading into the international break after winning all three of their matches.
