International sports streaming service DAZN has unveiled a global tie-up with H2O Racing, the company that promotes international power boating events.
Through a non-exclusive deal announced yesterday, DAZN will provide coverage of the F1H2O (powerboating) and the ABP Aquabike (jetski racing) series (both of which are overseen by powerboating’s global UIM governing body).
The tie-up comes into effect in time for the next race from both – the UIM F1H2O Grand Prix of Shanghai China, and the UIM ABP Aquabike Grand Prix of Lake Toba Indonesia.
The coverage package entails live broadcasts of every race, highlights, promotional and event clips, and other content.
Shay Segev, DAZN Group’s chief executive, has said: “With innovative technology at the heart of this growth, we look forward to providing thrilling content to audiences around the world. Fans of the events will be able to access all the best action at no cost on DAZN and we look forward to exciting them with our portfolio of motorsports and other premium content.”
Raimondo di Sana Germano, general manager at H2O Racing (established in 2011), added: “This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for H2O Racing to showcase the excitement and intensity of the F1H2O and Aquabike championships to a broader audience. With DAZN's extensive reach and expertise in sports broadcasting, we are confident that our fans will enjoy an enhanced viewing experience like never before.”
