The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has today unveiled UniCredit, the Italy-based banking and financial services firm, as a new sponsor of the Davis Cup, the men’s premier international team event.

The company has been named as the official banking partner of the competition until 2026.

Through the agreement, UniCredit’s new online banking service, Buddy, will have visibility at Davis Cup ties and events for the next three years.

The bank joins the roster of Davis Cup partners which features Dunlop, Joma, Quironsalud, Socios, and Stake.

The partnership was launched at UniCredit’s head office in Milan earlier today. Italy will host the 2024 Davis Cup Finals Group A event in Bologna between 10 and 15 September.

The other host cities for the Davis Cup Finals group stages are London (UK) Valencia (Spain), and Zhuhai (China).

The quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final of the 2024 Davis Cup, as was the case with the 2023 and 2022 editions, will be played in Malaga, Spain.

The finals will take place across November 19-24 at the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena.

Italy were crowned champions of the 2023 Davis Cup, beating Australia in the final.

UniCredit will also serve as the global banking partner of sailing's premier America’s Cup race later this year under a deal announced last September.
