SquashTV, the broadcast arm of the Professional Squash Association (PSA), has launched a free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel, initially available via Amazon Freevee.
The channel has launched in the US and is currently broadcasting the Manchester Open tournament between May 22 and 26. It has been developed in association with the C15 Studio company.
The SquashTV channel is set to feature “live broadcasts from the biggest squash tournaments on the international professional circuit.”
In addition, full replays, highlights, interviews, and behind-the-scenes programming will be aired.
Tommy Berden, chief commercial officer at the PSA, said: "The launch of a dedicated FAST channel will help us take the next step as we look to expand our audience through new avenues.
“Given the massive scale of audience we can reach through FAST, it made perfect sense to partner with C15 Studio, FAST, and sports industry leaders, to launch SquashTV. While our initial launch will be limited to the US, we will expand the channel’s reach into other territories across the globe throughout 2024.”
