Jeff Ehrenkranz, a multi-decade veteran of international sports and entertainment agency giant Octagon, has now been appointed as president of the Hirschfeld Marketing Solutions (HMS) agency.
The appointment of Ehrenkranz was first reported by media, and then confirmed by Ehrenkranz via LinkedIn soon after. This amounts to a new role at the agency.
He commented, through LinkedIn, on the new position: “Joining forces with visionary founder Todd Hirschfeld and a team of experts known for pioneering ideas and flawless execution has been truly inspiring. Eager to add my expertise and drive to the incredible potential of the HMS family.”
Ehrenkranz spent a quarter of a century at Octagon Worldwide, latterly as president of its international marketing business, and is credited with transforming the company’s European and Asian offering from a traditional sponsorship agency to a creative sports marketing agency.
He first joined Octagon in 1994.
After leaving in January 2020, he joined Allied Sports, the agency established in 2019, tasked with leading its international expansion as chief operating officer, before leaving that organization in December last year.
