Eleven Sports rolls out fourth Polish channel
Eleven Sports, the international pay-television broadcaster, has launched a fourth channel in Poland, one of the seven countries in which it now operates.
Eleven Sports 4 went live on Monday, and is available exclusively to subscribers on the nc+ platform for the first three months.
The new channel is available at no extra charge in an extended basic tier and in other premium plans and, after the first three months, will be rolled out on other platforms.
It has been launched to provide an extra outlet for coverage of top soccer leagues including the Bundesliga, LaLiga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
Meanwhile, the other Eleven Sports channels in Poland - Eleven, Eleven Sports and Eleven Extra - are being rebranded as Eleven Sports 1, Eleven Sports 2 and Eleven Sports 3 respectively.
Danny Menken, group managing director of Eleven Sports, said: “The launch of Eleven Sports 4 ensures we steadily increase our market share in Poland while also meeting the growing demand for ELEVEN SPORTS among fans by making our world-class sports content more readily available. We air more than 20 live matches every weekend in Poland and ELEVEN’s channels have regularly been named as the best performing sports channels among viewers aged 16 to 49 this season. We are very pleased to step up our offer to fans across the country and extend our valuable partnership with nc+.”
Eleven Sports launched in Poland in August 2015 and, in addition to soccer, offers coverage of sports including Formula 1 motor racing, NFL American football, ATP World Tour men’s tennis, speedway and mixed martial arts
It also has services in Belgium, Luxembourg, Singapore, Taiwan, USA and Italy.
