Germany's Worthmann to be new UEG general director
The 41-year-old Worthmann will replace Finland’s Kirsi Erofejeff-Engman, who is leaving on 30 June as she wants “to give a new orientation to her career.”
Erofejeff-Engman, who is 46, became general director at the UEG in 2010.
Worthmann is currently in charge of events at the STV, the Swiss gymnastics federation, and will assume her new role at the UEG on 1 September.
She was previously the event manager at the 2011 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Berlin and secretary general of the 2016 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Bern.
